What happens when founders stop building in isolation

We partner with accelerators, universities, and venture ecosystems to convert cohort participants into high-performing founder networks.

Each program has its own context. The outcomes are remarkably consistent.

From declining participation to the most valuable part of the accelerator

York already understood the potential of peer support and tried running its own, but it produced inconsistent experiences. Attendance gradually declined.

InFounders introduced professionally facilitated masterminds within York's four-month accelerator. Our methodology helped founders move beyond surface-level updates, build trust quickly, and support one another by exploring the real challenges behind their businesses.

Participants voted the masterminds the most valuable part of their accelerator.

Participants became so supportive that they began spending time together to help one another outside the program.

The experience also strengthened the program itself. Engagement and team spirit increased, enthusiastic word of mouth contributed to a boost in new accelerator applications for the following year, and InFounders became embedded in York's entrepreneurship program — including its new accelerator for women entrepreneurs.

From separate entrepreneurship zones to a connected ecosystem

TMU had ten specialized entrepreneurship zones, each with its own expertise, mentors, resources, and programming. The strength of this model also created a challenge: entrepreneurs largely operated within their individual zones.

InFounders brought participants from different zones into facilitated peer groups. Founders began sharing mentors, workshops, databases, investor connections, and resources from across the university. Exposure to entrepreneurs working in entirely different fields also generated fresh thinking and unexpected approaches to familiar problems.

Participants developed a stronger sense of belonging to TMU's wider entrepreneurial community.

Turning shared experience into a strategic resource

CanWCC wanted to provide women entrepreneurs with support that recognized the realities they faced — and that was valuable enough to justify their limited time.

InFounders created facilitated peer groups where members could speak candidly, learn from one another's experiences, and become invested in each other's success.

Participants shared relevant grants, contacts, opportunities, and practical strategies. They supported one another through self-doubt and difficult decisions, celebrated wins together, and stayed connected outside the formal meetings.

Shared experience became a source of strength, collective insight, and powerful business growth.
